It’s a real pleasure to see an artist slowly grow and develop into an absolute star. Since her BBC Sound Poll nod last year, London’s NAO has been carefully plotting a path towards her debut full-length release, finally arriving this week. Entitled For All We Know, it is a triumph, and undoubtedly one of the first debuts of the year. The latest single to be lifted from the album, ‘Girlfriend’ has been given a suitably luxurious video, and is the perfect visual accompaniment to the track’s funk-laced, warped RnB sound. NAO is the undisputed rising voice of London’s alternative RnB scene at the moment, and we’d really recommend you get stuck into the album right away. -JC
